NuriFlex (CEO Han Jeong-Hoon, www.nuriflex.co.kr ), a company
specializing in AI-based green energy solutions, established a local smart
energy solution factory in Paraguay and signaled the development of the South
American market in earnest.
NuriFlex held the "Paragua Smart Energy
Solution Factory Opening Ceremony" on July 5, local time, at the Nino
Hotel boutique in Asuncion, Paraguay.
The opening ceremony was held in the presence
of public and private sector officials, including CEO Han Jeong-Hoon, Korean
Ambassador to Paraguay Yoon Chan-sik, Director Kotra Yu Myung-sik, Minister of
Trade, Industry and Energy Javier Giménez and Deputy Minister Lorena Méndez,
Paraguay's National Power Company (ANDE) and Paraguay's Industrial Union
officials.
NuriFlex's Paraguay factory was introduced at
the ceremony, and an open ceremony was held to introduce business plans and
visions for providing AI-based green energy solutions and services.
NuriFlex registered its Paraguay local unit
(NuriFlex Paraguay E.A.S) in April as part of the development of its advanced
metering infrastructure(AMI) solution to overseas markets.
NuriFlex has been working with Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) for two years since 2007 to carry out a pilot project for electric AMI (intelligent meter reading infrastructure) for consumers of commercial & industrial(C&I) of Paraguay power company ANDE.
CEO Han Jeong-hoon said,
" We appreciate the active support and encouragement of the Paraguay government and officials for their efforts to establish the Paraguay factory, and we are meaningful to establish the first energy solution production plant in Paraguay for Latin America.
"With the establishment of the Paraguay
factory, it is expected to serve as an important bridgehead for spreading
various smart energy projects to neighboring countries such as Brazil,
